This is how this handmade chain was created.
The gold was heated and poured into a bar, then rolled in a rolling mill, then drawn out to round wire. The wire was then formed into circles and twisted into these handmade links. I soldered each link.
From the center of the chain is a diamond coin which contains a .10 carat diamond of G-H Color and VS-SI1 clarity. Very sparkly and sweet the coin is permanently attached to the necklace and is soldered to the center link. All of the links are soldered.
I did use a lobster clasp on the chain for security and also the necklace can be shortened or lengthened depending on the outfit. Very versatile.
The gold coin at the center keeps this chain in the center of your neck and is the focal point of the piece. A great accessory for almost any outfit. Dress it up or dress it down, it will be happy going out on the town with you, or just for coffee, and sure to be a conversation piece.
The total length of the chain is 17.5 inches. The weight of this chain is 8.9 grams of solid 14k yellow gold.
